ABOUT
Hi! Thanks for being here. Simply put - I'm an Adelaide based Yoga and Mindfulness teacher.

From a place of compassion and accessibility, I use mindfulness teachings and techniques to help restore calm and tranquillity in a modern world, whilst exploring how we can weave these into our every day life. My style of yoga classes range from creative, expressive vinyasa, to calming restorative flows - expect deep, nourishing, breath led flowing movement and meditation to leave you feeling restored.
Originally from the UK, I moved to Adelaide back in 2019, and now call the Fleurieu Peninsula home. I fell in love with yoga over 10 years ago after my first class. It was the first practise I've done where I felt a connection both with my body, and with something bigger than myself. I dived in and continued classes wherever I travelled, and reading as much as I could about spirituality, mindfulness, yoga and everything in between.
These practises have helped me through the most trying times in my life - deciding to have a preventative double mastectomy after knowing I had the BRCA1 gene mutation (leaving me at a high risk of breast and ovarian cancer) , to then being diagnosed with leukaemia a year later, 15,000kms away from home and being severley immunocompromised during a global pandemic. Following cancer treatment and a life changing stem cell transplant, I decided to undergo my Yoga Teacher Training - something I'd been wanting to do for years.

Since then, I've been living and learning more yoga - teaching regular classes in studios and beyond, whilst undertaking further trainings in accessible yoga, anatomy, functional movement, trauma informed yoga, and more.

My aim is to use the experiences I've had to help others - both in finding yoga and their bodies (and selves) after cancer/chronic illness and to find practises which are accessible and can work for them.

I'm a huge proponent in finding what works for you - yoga is a practice available to all - lets come home to our bodies.
I love teaching students 1 on 1 to meet their goals and create an individualised practise, as well as teaching in group sessions for those whom yoga may not be too accessible for (yet!).
